IV. Ledger Menu

The Ledger menu is used to call up dialog windows associated with the company, cost centres, general ledger accounts, periods, journal vouchers, synoptic journals, trial balance, ledger detail, balance sheets, P and L statements, and resource reports. These dialog windows can be accessed either by using your mouse to make a selection from the Ledger menu or by using the keyboard shortcuts as shown in Figure 4.0.1 below. For example, to call up the Cost Centres dialog window you could use the keyboard shortcut <cmd-K>.

For more information on one of the functions available in the Ledger menu, click on the appropriate selection in the menu diagram. For example, if you want to know more about the Company selection, click on it in the menu above.
