5.4 Depreciating All Assets

To depreciate all assets, first call up the Asset Register dialog by selecting it in the Assets menu. Select the proper date range and click on the button labelled 'OK'.

Then, select Depreciate All from the Assets menu. Fill in the proper date range and click 'OK'.A small dialog entitled, "Depreciation Control Totals" will appear once the operation has been completed, both to inform you that the operation has been successful and to present the numbers involved.

To exit from the Asset Register dialog, click in the small box in the upper left corner of the window, or select Close from the File menu, or type in its key equivalent, <cmd-W>.
